Okay. So I'm really new to this DeviantArt thing(I set up the account last June, but never put anything on until now). Still trying to find my way through. Still trying to figure out what I hope to get from being here and how to get it. I need to put A LOT more art in my gallery! It's pretty puny right now.

I appreciate the compliments I've gotten already (so soon after opening up). There are so many great artists here! I think it makes me want to try and "keep up" more. I really do want to be pushed artistically. I think I have trouble focusing on what I need to be drawing sometimes. I have trouble creating 'finished pieces'. I'm impatient. I am full of the Wanderlust and sitting still for long periods of time is difficult. I did readjust my drawing table so that I have to stand while drawing. That actually helped a little. So if anyone has any suggestions (other than some sort of medication) I am open to hear them.

I am also very technology-challenged. Sometimes I see art that was produced electronically with Photoshop or Illustrator and I can't decide if I'm disappointed that it was done by computer or if I'm jealous as hell that I don't know how to do it myself! (I really have nothing against computer generated art. It's part of the whole "you fear what you don't understand" thing) Oh, well. Maybe I'll catch up someday!
